Wonderful Culture, Best in Class!
Mar. 2, 2023 - Law Clerk in Etobicoke, ONRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There are not enough words to express how much I enjoyed working for Weston Foods prior to the sale of the company. The culture was amazing and some of the business colleagues in the business came together to lead in innovation, sustainability and make it a truly enjoyable place to work and grow.
Cons
None. Weston Foods was an amazing employer. Handled the complexities of the pandemic with a level of class and empathy towards their employees that made me proud to be a part of it.

No pros of working at weston foods as company has been sold to fgf
Cons
The management at FGF is pathetic and not knowledgeable about how things were conducted at Weston Foods...they laid off most of the customer service team and asking one person to do the work of 5 people....no job security....biased management...no work life balance

Most Honest Review-Take What You Will From It
Nov. 12, 2021 - Administrative AssistantRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Co Workers and hourly employees=Great. Upper Management and particularly the HR Department speaks poorly of those who are on the line and hourly workers. You know the people who make the products, so you make the profit. They think we are less than.
Cons
To anyone reading this, HR will never be your friend, Ever, at any organization. They will mention that they have policies and links for you to report wrong doings. However, they do not practice what they preach. They will turn it around where you are the issue. I was under the assumption HR was to remain neutral and to not cast judgements and remarks. -If an employee cannot work due to family commitments or other extenuating circumstances, HR will work with management to ensure you have a crap schedule, believe me. For instance, scheduling you weekends and nights only -The HR department runs on vengeance and vindictiveness. I have never seen such immoral and immature leadership, holding positions of power. Whilst still responsible for the alleged "well being of others". - They have ZERO Empathy, none. Remember that! - Management has favorites -Management degrades staff infront of others - Becareful who you trust I know it's slim pickings out there for jobs, but if you can skip this organization on the whole, I would do so. Unless you want to be mentally damaged to the point you question your abilities and sanity.
