I worked at West Wind Aviation full-time for less than a year

    Pros

-Nice looking place -Nice aircraft -Hire internally (but if your not wanting to become a pilot your out of luck) pros don't really outweigh the cons here.

    Cons

Well for starters you will never meet your real boss, ever, that says something already. the night supervisor hasn't even been employed their for a year and has no experience in a supervisor role. their a group of friends and pilots in training who will harass and bully you and if they don't like you they will set you up to fail and get management to fire you and management won't even try to work with you they will just let you go without even 1 strike, especially if your under probation. I left a job i was at for 3 years because i was unhappy with it and wanted to do something else. I had 2 years prior experience working in this field of work for a competitor company at the airport. The person who hired me trained me well, but he was hated and treated poorly by his employees and left 2 weeks after i was hired leaving me to get setup to fail by the rest. My training was considered inaccurate and wrong and i was punished for something that wasn't my fault, told everything i was doing was wrong despite it being what my hiring supervisor had trained me to do. Bullied by my co workers every night with a new supervisor who had only been their for 5 months now calling the shots and letting everyone bully me and set me up to fail. I didn't deserve to be let go without just cause only 1 month into my employment here but that is probation for you and poor management, i showed up for work EARLy every day and i worked hard, i just got bullied and harassed and was expected to accept it and like it, but being a human i did not. i learned of a million other problems this company currently has and has had over the years from Veteran employees who have been working here for over 5+ years, geeze why are these guys not in charge and employees who have been their for not even half a year are? If you are looking for a good fun job place to work at this is not for you. You will not grow here, the company stopped wage increases and promotions in the last 3 years, and unless your a pilot in training you have no future here and if your resume does not specify that your in flight school they will toss out your resume. If your not a pilot and your lucky enough to even get an interview and hired here be prepared to be treated poorly and setup to fail and let go under your probation before you could even qualify to fight it. Their are other companies in the aviation industry to work for i highly suggest them over this one. Companies with proper management and nice people who will work with you and train you and treat you right, a harder worker will thrive their, but a hard worker with not thrive with West wind Aviation/Snow Bird Aviation Services. in a nut shell -Poor management -Rude disrespectful Staff, it's like High school with bullies all over again -Equipment is poorly maintained inadequate and unsafe -No Company Policy or procedures are followed. -Career opportunities are extremely limited (but thats unavoidable for some)
