I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Many available resources/tools at your exposure. new and relaxed culture with primary focus on keeping customers happy and not leaving the bank.

    Cons

Give you a very short leash. Upper management expecting you to hit certain loan volume numbers while your branch manager does not allow you to go out and meet business owners or give you blocked time to make outreach dials. As a "specialty banker" you should NOT have to do certain things (replace debit cards, stage direct/be a greeter, let customer in safe deposit box) which occupy your time, YOU SHOULD HAVE TIME TO MEET WITH HIGH NET WORTH CLIENTS!! Your direct manager will say to business leaders what they want to hear but will restrict you from doing what you were hired to do. Not clear on incentive payouts. Continuing to change payout structure and not sharing what numbers are above average, average, below average.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Has best benefits and enjoy working with other team members

    Cons

Do not get support from your upper management except from your branch manager. Doesn't want many of their employees to move up.

I have been working at Wells Fargo

    Pros

Great vacation time. Most of your team mates are great people and genuinely care about the company and your team.

    Cons

Upper management is facing serious problems. Uneasiness around the entire company - layoffs are guaranteed soon. Unbalanced pay. HR is a joke.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Work life balance is good but comes at expense of compensation.

    Cons

Work in WIM as an equity analyst. 1) Sales organization that puts sales over investment outcomes or fiduciary obligation to clients. 2) pay is poor vs other bulge bracket firms. Firm generally pays below market rates & raises are below inflation. 3) tech systems are archaic & channels are overly bureaucratic. (Takes months for compliance approvals, 4 weeks for website access for primary job function) 4) Upper management is more interested in cutting costs to get their bonuses than well being of employees or providing living wage 5) Investment management division is disorganized & a “follower”. Competitors far more innovative.
