Diversity and Collaboration at its best!!
Mar. 17, 2023 - Talent Acquisition Manager in Toronto, ONRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
One of the things I appreciate most about this company is the emphasis on diversity and collaboration. We have people from all over the world working together, bringing unique perspectives and ideas to the table. The result is a truly inclusive and collaborative culture that makes coming to work each day a pleasure
Cons
None so far that I can think of. :)

Pros
I had a very personal issue that I needed my companys help for. I was really grateful that went over the top to help me and my family feels so grateful for all their help during a crisis time. If you are reading this I think you will know who I am but I just want to thank you again for being so generous to me and my family. When I switched my job to Viva, I never imagined how grateful I would be.
Cons
nowhere is perfect but I don't have anything to complain about.

Pros
I was directed here by my colleague who loves viva naturals and wanted me to help combat the unfair negative reviews here. I cannot speak for anyone else but my experience has been only positive. Management from what I can see has been compassionate, kind and very generous. I interact fairly regularly with the management and I can say they have only been respectful to me. There is 1 or 2 negative employees who are not very welcoming but otherwise everyone else is very good.
Cons
a few unkind employees who spoil your day sometimes

Soulless, Impulsive Management With Decent Benefits
Sep. 22, 2019 - Customer Experience Specialist in North York, ONRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Large office with many rooms to hide in. - Gym and showers. - Great benefits. - Full kitchen with provided food. - Easy to access office from transit. - Staff lunch once per month. - Some genuinely great people who organize fun events. - Large periods of autonomy to fully control projects and tasks.
Cons
- Company focus changes every three months, alongside role responsibilities and position relevancy. - Condescending management that uses ambiguous buzzwords as hollow motivation, while not understanding the labour required to complete tasks. - Importance of cutting costs drives decisions, resulting in failed projects, inferior products, strained relationships with clients, and overworked employees who are forced to take on many different responsibilities. - Final decisions that change many times over a project's life due to the above mentioned issues, resulting in constantly moving goalposts and substantially extended timelines. - When unrealistic goals are not met due to the failure to recognize the above mentioned issues, employees are blamed by management, positions are let go, and company focus re-shifts. - Lack of ambition to ascend among company or fix core issues due to the cyclical nature of the above mentioned issues, resulting in a culture of complacency.
Continue readingThank you for providing your feedback, it is always welcomed and taken seriously at Viva. We see that you are a Former Employee and hope you took the time to share your concerns with your Leader while you were here. We do have a new Head of People and Culture who is dedicated to ensuring the culture at Viva is healthy and strong and have restructured leadership to include other areas of the business. In addition we have worked very hard on solidifying company wide goals that are much more concrete than they may have been in the past. That said, it’s important to consider that Viva is an entrepreneurial organization which by its very nature will have to move with the ebbs and tides of the marketplace. Often decisions are made that maybe everyone at all levels of the business does not understand but they are made with the best interest of the business in mind, we are working on being even more transparent. Being able to adapt quickly is part of what helps us to be successful in such a fast moving industry. It is also important that as we grow, we continue to communicate transparently and openly - we are all learning together! Best of luck in all your future endeavours.
