I have been working at Visions Electronics full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fantastic compensation, great atmosphere, amazing management. Couldn't complain.

    Cons

You have to work a lot during the holidays, but it's retail sales, and that should be expected.

I have been working at Visions Electronics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Casual environment, you can joke around with salespeople and managers and slack around. If you work hard for one year, you can easily be promoted

    Cons

Very sexist environment, Managers usually make rape jokes and make you uncomfortable. They only hire girls as cashiers and you are usually the only girl in the store so if you talk to one guy more than others everyone will think you have something going on with that person. All salespeople usually care about is the money and will treat you like nothing in front of a rich customer

I worked at Visions Electronics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Working with electronics and things that don’t talk.

    Cons

Discombobulated mess. Disorganized. Sales people who talk too much, get in the way of doing effective installation work.

I worked at Visions Electronics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

the pro is that there was no pro

    Cons

Do not get a job here. I repeat don't get a job here. Even though you will be told the job is not minimum wage it is. Their advertise and sales tactics revolve around treating people like braindead idiots who don't have the internet to catch their B.s. Most of your time will be spent standing around an empty all day because of this but managers will say it's the employee's fault that customers know better not set foot in the store

I worked at Visions Electronics part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Made a couple of friends with decent staff members.

    Cons

-No hours available to hourly staff(which are all female cashiers) - Poor management - Unreliable staff members - Salesmen are aggressive and use questionable sales tactics - The hired staff seems to be made up of many men(they don't really hire women sales staff) who are chronic drug users - Salesmen constantly make rude, crude, sexual comments - Some of the male staff try to hook up with all of the cashiers - Company policies being broken consistently by management - Head office does not deal with issues at individual store levels - Salesmen have sworn and belittled customers - Commission fraud - There are definitely staff doing illegal things and management does not care
