RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Visier full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Working with current cloud technologies like AWS, Cloudformation, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Cassandra. The goal is that everything is done through automation. If you think you can make something better, step up and pitch it to the team then make it happen. What better way to show your leadership capabilities and technical craft? If you have the drive and passion there are lots of opportunities for you. The standards to get hired are high.. you have to be a good culture fit as well as a technically proficient. It means you get to work with lots of great people, learn from them as well as teach them. Everyone is expected to contribute in a collaborative work environment.
Cons
Not everyone is cut out to work at Visier. If you are looking for a laid back environment there is probably a better fit somewhere else.

RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Visier full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Great People. Lots of perks. Beer Fridays. Happy hour once a month. Lots of team building activities. You can bring your own dog.
Cons
As a startup, it's still struggling to figure it out how to organize their processes. Too many repetitive tasks to report your time or the things that you're working on. Too many meetings. Not enough time to do your daily job or properly prepare to help customers.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Visier full-time for more than a year
Pros
A lot of companies have great people some have great products and a few have great leadership. This company appears to have all three and is well situated to have a lot of growth over the next few years.
Cons
A lot of technology to learn and a fast pace of growth change (which is good) but also difficult to keep pace with

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Visier for less than a year
Pros
Great working environment, great people (and food and drinks :)) and lots of fun to work in. For students, it's a place to learn a lot at a very fast pace. A place for growth.
Cons
Lots of things to do, lots of challenges to face, possibly undergo certain amount of pressure. Need to be committed and able to adjust yourself quickly.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Visier full-time for more than a year
Pros
Fantastic Product and market leader. Some great people remain...
Cons
Poor sales execution , led by poor management and overall lack of congruent leadership. Recent RIF of high caliber and performing team members highlights declining culture. Company being set up to be sold - unless you are vested stay clear for 6 months. Haven't made their numbers in several quarters in a row. This was a great place to work and its a shame to see so many great folks leave.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Visier full-time for less than a year
Pros
Visier has great people, great products, and fantastic customers! The Visier team is excited about what we're building together, and these are the kind of people you want to be in the trenches with. The leadership team is phenomenal, and they are highly respected in the enterprise software and Business Intelligence world. Also, they are very inclusive of everyone on the Visier team, they want to hear everyone's ideas and opinions, and they are very open about the goals for the company, and for each of us as individuals. Visier has a great culture, and is truly a great place to work!
Cons
It's hard to find much of anything negative to say about Visier. I'd say we have some of the normal growing pains of a small but fast growing software company. We can't seem to find and hire great people fast enough to support our rapidly growing demands.
