  • No really a work/life balance as you will end up mostly working 6 days a week or even 7 days (in 14 reviews)

  • Parent company Liberty Global just want to outsource everything so a lot of good quality people are going or have gone leaving those left over stressed (in 25 reviews)

    Great free tea and coffee but sometimes they let me down.

    Pros

    Immediate team and recruiting myself for like minded people
    Rewards are there if you work hard enough
    Flexible with my childcare
    Holiday allocation is great

    Cons

    Managed by fear through the compliance and performance management
    No recognition any higher up than immediate manager
    No recognition for long term service
    Holiday bans, there’s so many it’s hard to fit in all of staff holiday.
    Cut so many dept that customer service is non existent and falls to the stores but they have no store support or ability to fix things
    Scheduling done by person in head office who has no understanding of the trading patterns or that your staff are actual people.
    Direct competition is other sales channels and they can get away with very dodgy stuff which crates care issues store has to clean up.
    IT support is awful they don’t know what the systems are we use

    Advice to Management

    Get proper store support 7 days a week from people who understand our issues.
    Treat us like people not numbers
