I worked at Vice Media part-time
Pros
Great ideology, creative content. They create a lot of work and take chances.
Cons
Takes a long time to get paid. Was interviewed many times for different positions and recruited too- there seems to be disorganization at the helm.
Advice to Management
More communication between departments!
I worked at Vice Media part-time
Pros
good work culture and vibe
Cons
disorganized, overlap across the websites
Pros
I was working remotely/overseas and the communication with the company was flawless. I was supported with technical and administrative issues. The salary was also paid on time. Everything was done in a fast and professional way. The person with whom I was staying in touch was very friendly.
Cons
I see no cons.
As I was working remotely, and the whole process was fine, I can say nothing about the work conditions in the office.

I have been working at Vice Media full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Free food, exceptionally private restroom stalls, casual dress, interesting work. There is little structure or leading from above and most jobs are learn-as-you go. Its empowering for the projects and work you get to do. Decent pay, depending on where you land, lots to learn and a great place to put on a resume, if a creative field is where you want to stay. The assignments can be varied and are fairly collaborative. The people are largely helpful and you’ll definitely find someone you can relate to.
Cons
Long hours. Commute can take its toll. Overcrowded and messy in places, especially bathrooms. Work is sporadic, at best. If you’re a woman or a minority don’t expect much room for contributing, titles or no, you’re essentially there to make the place look diverse and ‘sexy’ (expect to be asked if you’re on Tinder (female) or to be given grunt work with little say (minority) - either way, expect assignments that are redundant or intractable), and any decisions are made by the males around you. Cliquish like a typical office, but the company is growing right now so there’s always work to be done. Depending on the department you’re either paid sub-par (any creative department), fairly well (any corporate department) or sporadically at best (any freelancer position). If you’re a creative caucasian male, looking for a good bit on your resume and a half-way decent (exactly half-way) paycheck, this is probably the place for you — it’s a place where you can really do no wrong, and you get to look at all the pretty things which are basically there for you’re enjoyment anyway.
Disclaimer: At it’s heart Vice is an ad company- it drives everything in the company, so expect to compromise ALOT if you’re the idealist type.
Advice to Management
