    Pros

    Great company
Amazing management and hr staff who have helped me so much, with my personal life and medical conditions, i moved to other floors with my time at utilitywise and the ops managers and team managers understand my medical condition and really help and support me which i find amazing they take time out to see if i am ok and support when i do come ill,

    Cons

Just wish there was company sick pay which would help staff with medical conditions when are off work due to their health issues

    Advice to Management

Cant fault any ops managers or managers and hr staff as they all show amazing support to my health condition,
I would to say thanks everyone at utilitywise for the ongoing support it amazing thank you

I have been working at Utilitywise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some great team managers and middle management . Great ongoing support. Recent incentives have been loads of fun.

    Cons

Brendan’s backed the wrong horses I’m afraid. Disengaged executive team. One new in particular who doesn’t even look a slightly but interested always slouching and seems very arrogant. Another sage veteran

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people who know the industry. Get next year wrong and it’s game over . Where’s the new products better data you promised? Brendan and execs time to admit you took on to much and stop making us the laughing stock of the north east.

    I worked at Utilitywise full-time

    Pros

At first everyone is there to help and will always cheer you along on your good day

    Cons

Sometime the line managers can think they’re better than you and put down for that each day

    Advice to Management

Try to build up your staff when they have a bad day and dragging them down

I have been working at Utilitywise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly people all round, good building kept clean.

    Cons

Seems to be same people closing big deals and getting all the glory and praise, when others work a lot harder and close other business not as big which isn’t in there control due to customer spec and usage, yet no praise and if your not closing 30 a month of the smaller deals to hit your targets your told your position is at risk or move to another floor with no pipeline and hebe to start all again which is not fare

    Advice to Management

Look after all you’re staff not just the people who a fed deals and hit big revenue as the people closing smaller deals work harder as they need more for targets

I worked at Utilitywise full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Some great people
    Good hours
    Ok basic

    Cons

Ex employees are being pursued through the high court for accepting better paid roles at competitors.
The managing director sent an all staff email bragging that Utilitywise had won a court case that would end up costing an ex employee 40k in high court costs, ruining a family’s life.
Toxic atmosphere throughout the company as they’d rather spend millions on costly court cases whilst simultaneously making over 100 people redundant in the last 10 months than improve the company to keep staff that had been loyal to them for years.
Threats, violence, sexual harassment, drugs, alcohol - these are all common problems that rear their heads on a regular basis, week in week out at Utilitywise.
Commissions go unpaid regularly, the finance team hide losses in the complicated accounting structure to basically recognise those losses when it suits them. This company is basically organised crime with a briefcase

    Advice to Management

Leave ex employees alone. Stop wasting money on hiring solicitors to sue ex members of staff and use the money to keep people in their seats and pay bonuses

I worked at Utilitywise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great colleagues and most of management, location and fab benefits. This is a good company to work for.

    Cons

Unfortunatly my time here came to an end due to worries with the financial situation, changes in commission structure and management knowing there were personal issues but not addressing them, I felt I had no other option but to leave. Even upon handing my notice in, higher management were to busy to a dress the issues and one team manager knew the issues affecting me but no one attempted to come up with a plan or any ideas or even approach me to solve the issue. Most companies would at least have a detailed discussion around the problems and see if any arangment could be made.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff. If you know they're having issues no matter what, then adress them properly and don't leave it to late as more people will walk and probably regret the decision.
