    Pros

Fantastic academic environment. Many brilliant minds, very collaborative, ideas are in the air

    Cons

Keen to publish in big journals (Nat & Sci) is way more pronounced here than in other schools I have been before, which is not necessarily a "Con"

Former Employee - Research Associate in Cambridge, East of England, England (UK)

I worked at University of Cambridge full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A very good environment (Department of Computer Systems and Technology) for research - good facilities, great researchers, supportive staff.

Opportunity to join the IT industry - endless job fairs in the department with many companies coming around looking for staff

    Cons

Not a diverse environment, predominantly white in the region of more than 90% based on my observation. Students and researchers from minority ethnic groups are very small in number, perhaps they don't meet the requirements.

    Advice to Management

You should have some affirmative action to get minorities in as you have been doing with women.
