I have been working at University of Cambridge full-time

    Pros

    Hard working and challenging environment.
The college system offers a wide range of social activities outside of studying.

    Cons

For some, the one examination a year system can get really stressful, since your whole year result depends on 4 days of examination.

    Advice to Management

For some courses (eg. maths) there is no written hand-out, that makes note taking mandatory, and makes student pay less attention and just copy during the lectures.

I have been working at University of Cambridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent networking opportunities and opportunities for collaboration. Good if you enjoy working independently.

    Cons

Sometimes no adequate office space is provided. The working environment is heavily dependent on your supervisor. In some cases you have complete freedom, other supervisors prefer to micromanage their students.

    Advice to Management

Create better mentoring and guidance systems. More support should be given on real problems and challenges (research based).

Challenging - the students are very good. So you need to be on top of your game

    Cons

    None to share on cons.
