Pros
High quality research and excellent facilities. UHN attracts the best researchers and guest speakers. It has a good track record of successful research. The pay is similar to other institutes. There are many training opportunities to develop your skills while there.
Cons
There is a lot of unnecessary administration and it is not the most sociable work environment. Many of the PI's are difficult to work for so check with current staff.

Pros
Really good environment to work in cause the equipment is all state-of-the art. Everyone who works here are all dedicated.
Cons
As a researcher, we never got paid overtime. There would be a lot of times where I have worked more than 8 hours a day, but I only get paid for the 8 that I am supposed to be working.
