Pros
- Great learning opportunities - High standards of excellence which set you up for success in any job or role you go to - Everyone is very supportive of each other and there is great teamwork - Diversity and inclusion
Cons
- Favoritism and little room for growth. Select people are promoted while many others are stuck in the same role for a long period of time and not able to grow. - Key information is not shared with the whole team so many times there is a disconnect - Employees are not given opportunities to demonstrate their full potential - Employees are hired externally for higher positions while people in lower positions are stuck in the same role

Pros
Great pension plan and provides a laid-back atmosphere.
Cons
UHN is generally out-dated in terms of technology. For example, they still use hardcopies to track vacation and attendance. For non-medical employees, it isvery hard to get promoted and there is very little room for career growth. The patient record and database at UHN is a mess; uses a very out-dated system.
