    Pros

    As full-time faculty, both Teaching and Research are part of the job. Part-time contract is also available. USP is a research university: faculty members select their research focus. Graduate and undergrad courses are among the best in the country. Located in several campi in the Sao Paulo State. Access to FAPESP (The São Paulo Research Foundation) for funding opportunities. Students may enroll through FUVEST. Students Nationwide enroll through SISU.

    Faculty evaluation is only on its early steps. USP is a big university and bureaucracy may be a problem.
