Pros
Real family like ambience. Lots of opportunities. above the rate paycheck
Cons

I worked at Uni-Select full-time (More than 3 years)
Pros
None unless you have no choice and need to get employed.
Cons
Management not willing neither support you nor getting involved in finding solutions where their involvement is required according to the rational distribution of the official duties. In other words, you will be paid less for a higher level of responsibilities not talking about the volume of work coming again and again. As an excuse- the organisation has no structure etc. In reality, commonplace savings on Human Resources.
I have been working at Uni-Select full-time (More than a year)
Pros
Lot's of knowledgeable, dedicated, and competent employees.
Cons
Tumultuous time for the company with no CEO, seeking strategic alternatives, and little communication from the top down.
Advice to Management
Work on gaining the trust of the majority employee base. Many are unsure of the company identity, the path we're on, and middle managers don't have the answers for questions employees are asking.

Pros
Good place to get an entry level job if you're just out of high school and need to work. Pay is what you would expect for an entry level warehouse labour job.
Cons
Hard to get hired as officially full-time, they will employ you full time and have you work 40 hours a week so they don't have to offer benefits. Could be different by now but that was how things were when I was there. I didn't care because I didn't want the premiums coming off my paycheque.
Pros
- Work environnement
- Colleagues
- Cafeteria
- Projects
Cons
- Managers don't listen to us sometimes
- Only care for what the executive board has to say
Advice to Management
Listen to hwat the employees have to say and their opinions.

Pros
Great people, stimulating projects and opportunities for career development and advancement.
Cons
Lack of communication. Frequent organizational changes and employees often overwhelmed with workload, creating tensions between departments and colleagues which affect the overall morale.
I have been working at Uni-Select full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Great people. Good pay. Great discounts on car parts. I am not unhappy here, we are not micro managed in my dept.
Cons
Old-school way of running things. Strict hours. No flexibility. As a younger employee, I am behind a computer in a cubicle and this is now where I'd rather be.
Advice to Management
We need some more flexibility. To keep your employees, you will need to evolve your way of thinking towards a more 2018 way of running a company.
I have been working at Uni-Select full-time (More than 5 years)
Pros
Vigourous market, strategy and passion.
Cons
Passion is not trickled down to lower management and employees
Advice to Management
Impose vision and make sure all adhere to the "One team" approach.
I worked at Uni-Select full-time (More than 8 years)
Pros

Cons
Company has no loyalty to long term staff
Pros
Great people, loyal to the firm
Cons
Archaic styles, outdated processes, and management which is unable to innovate.
