I have been working at Unbounce full-time

    Pros

Unbounce is the best job I've ever had, bar none. The community here has such a collectively gregarious and collaborative spirit that it feels more like a big family than a small company, which makes for an incredibly inspiring and welcoming work environment. Unbounce’s awesomeness includes: Flexible work hours. Four weeks annual paid vacation and a $1,000 vacation bonus. Office closure from Dec 25th-Jan 1st offered as paid time off (most years). 5 paid personal days each year. Full benefits and paid MSP premiums. Stock options. An annual $500 health & wellness bonus. An annual $500 networking bonus. Training & Development Days (every second Friday, we're given the whole day to put our projects on hold and focus on improving our professional skills however we so choose). ShipIt Days (days when we can drop our day-to-day work and collaborate on projects across departments). Awesome social events. Snacks in the kitchen (apples, bananas, oatmeal, banana bread, etc.). A dog-friendly office for those who want to bring their four-legged friends to work with them every day. Beer Fridays (need I elaborate?). Unbounce’s core values are: Be transparent, be humble, be empowering, be courageous, be delightful, and be generous. And the amazing part is that (unlike most companies who pick their core values, type them into some administrative documentation, and then never think about them again) the whole company genuinely cares about and lives these six values on a daily basis. Unbounce has a gender diversity club (currently clocking in at 67 members) dedicated to promoting and talking about equality in the workplace. As a woman in the male-dominated tech industry, this was so refreshing to discover when I started working here. The people in charge at Unbounce have managed to assemble a truly fantastic gang of people who are more than employees in a workplace, they’re members of a community, and one that they all really care about. Working here is delightful, and I plan to stay here for as long as they’ll have me :).

    Cons

Unbounce is still a start-up, so of course growing pains are present as they grow bigger, but it's all part of the process!
