      Hostile Workplace

      Pros

      Location was decent, allowing for travel.

      Cons

      The leadership on the commandants office influenced a hostile work environment. My coworkers and myself included were quite miserable working here. When complaints of sexual harassment or inappropriate jokes were brought to them, they were ignored. There was finally an investigation into the leadership in the Commandants Office so hopefully new leaders will instill a better culture.

      EUCOM is a great place to work. The mission is challenging yet very rewarding. I enjoyed the expertise and experience of the team. The access to travel and partner engagements is the best part of the job

      The pay could be better.

      Ability to establish policy and programs that are far reaching compared to other command positions. Cutting edge of European political and economic defense. Ability to work with international partners.

      Cons

      The operational temp can be demanding at times. There is more work than there is manpower to accomplish it.
