      Pros

This is a teaching institution, but you don’t have to be a student to learn. People come from all corners of the globe to seek treatment here. Working back office I’ve learned a lot about different payment types and different coverages. I like how it’s constant and they’re always looking for ways to improve how a job is done. Other Pros are: Good benefits Pay is ideal Plenty of time off you can accrue Great place to learn and grow Positive mission and values

      Cons

It can be a con when they make too many changes at once although it’s not a major con. Some staff members aren’t always too kind. Sometimes because you’re not a nurse or doctor or a student of those, the clinical staff will walk around without acknowledging you even if you work closely with them. It’s hard to move from departments when you want to advance in your career but it’s not impossible. Some other cons are: Paying for parking Pension you don’t have control over No 401k match

      Pros

Great benefits and pay is par with market for nurses in Los Angeles. The facility is also very new compared to all hospitals around the LA area.

      Cons

Long 12 hour shifts. You have to pay for parking about $80/month.
