I worked at Trustwave full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Work / Life Balance - Work from home. They also take care of you from a good benefits package.
    - Great people to work with in many departments who will help you out out your respective and ongoing fires.
    - Ability to learn on the job and grow within the information security market.

    Cons

    - Always dealing with customer satisfaction issues which is extremely stressful as it's something that's completely outside of your control and doesn't seem like it ever gets better year in and year out.
    - Compensation is decent for starting out, but should rapidly ramp up to be in line with market and experience.
    - Sales Targets are regularly unrealiatic so don't believe you'll make your variable as it's extremely hard to do so especially when every deal that closes has provisioning, delivery and ongoing support issues which takes your focus away from your sales objectives and efforts.

    Advice to Management

    - Improve all aspects of customer experience from craddle to grave and make it your 100% committment to improve this in order to rapidly increase customer retention.
    - Compensation packages should be realistic and increase respective to market rates.

Trustwave is making waves in the industry... this is a good time to be at Trustwave. Just received award for 2017 Best Managed Security Service Winner - SC Media.
Tremendous growth over the last year in Canada regarding sales teams.

    Cons

Little to no training on product offering...
Limited internal support. Can take days to weeks to get answers.
Vacation is limited as well as no sick days... they come out of your already lacking vacation days.
Process can impede business outcomes... too much red tape, complexity and too lengthy of a process to close deals.

    Advice to Management

    Simplify sales process.
Provide better and more in depth product training to your front line sales teams.
