I have been working at Thomas Sabo

    Pros

Great work environment, good work life balance for retail and generous perks

    Cons

Sales pressure but not a lot of marketing. Company is new and growing so opportunity is there but not being utilized to potential.

    Pros

It is a very chill and flexible work place. Each store has a very friendly team.

I have been working at Thomas Sabo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Smaller sized considering a new company whom expended its shops numbers in Canada very fast last two years. Allowed to explore and lear about all aspects of retail business and company management hear your feedback very well.

    Cons

Since you are running your own show often times lacks support from corporate side. Tight payroll plan led a lot of team turn overs.

I have been working at Thomas Sabo full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Pay is surprisingly really good, since the company is struggling. Allocated jewelery is always a plus, so you don't have to buy the product out of pocket since it's expensive. Associate discount, if you do want to purchase stuff.

    Cons

Head Office is completely unorganized, if you can even call 5-10 people a "Head Office" They talk a big game about how they love their employees and support them, but very quickly find out that they are liars. Not really sure what the RM's are doing since everything is done at store level. And I mean EVERYTHING. If your store isn't making plan, they blame everything on the staff and the team. It's not because they don't give support and encouragement... (cough, cough). The contracts are also a huge joke since no one bothered to look up the labor laws when making them and is mostly invalid. (like if cash goes missing, they'll take it from your pay.... Can't do that...) Don't be fooled when they offer to pay you really well. Trust me, it's not worth it. If you want to feel like you're constantly incompetent, and treated like you are worth nothing, then work here! Also, be prepared to be constantly getting emails, even when you are on your day off, or not at the store and expect an answer and then get in trouble the next time you work . and last but not least, everyone loves to throw you under the bus and point fingers, instead of trying to figure out a solution or make things better.

I have been working at Thomas Sabo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

good incentives and opportunities to do some launch parties but highly doubt they still do this

    Cons

the sales targets were not realistic and they were always searching for the reason why each store was not hitting the targets which meant the managers pressured you to push every single customer. the incentives slowly started to go down and down once the company were restructuring.

I worked at Thomas Sabo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Happened to have a good team at the time, good staff discount and allocation.

    Cons

Extremely poor training, little to none on offer. Huge gap of communication between a sales assistant and upper management, HR had no interest in dealing with anyone's complaints. Companies "positivity training" earlier the year was nothing more than "If you have a problem it's to do with you, not us" absolutely no accountability from upper management.
