    The work environment is inclusive.
    Opportunities to network with senior leadership.
    Frequent management opportunities.
    Company has desire to continuously improve.

    Cons

    The company expects a lot out of it's employees. The less competent employees struggle to stay caught up with work and that work often is dumped onto the top performers.

    Pros

    Good company to work for. Great flexibility and work from home, good pay and pay for performance. Decent health benefits and 401k match. Generous amount of vacation time.

    Cons

    Very high standards and unfair customer loyalty surveys that seem to weigh more than anything. Any score received less than an 8 is a bad survey! Too many useless time consuming meetings. Not much job or room for career advancement. Alot of turnover causing high caseloads and intake. Need to obtain “badges” just to get an internal interview.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of the surveys and just pull phone calls to measure good customer service or atleast change the scoring system. Award long term loyal employees with easier career paths and more opportunities to advance their careers. Develop those good and loyal employees more.

    Pros

    I have been working for The Hartford for over six years now. My current position if full of daily challenges that keep me busy. I look forward waking up every morning and making a difference for our customers. I would highly recommend this company. The Hartford also has remote work opportunities.
