this is very annoying, you know.
Advice on how to make a transition from a back office (reporting/accounting) role to middle/front office? I’m already at Blackstone so it seems weird to leave and get an MBA, but I’m unhappy and bored with my day-to-day and not sure what to do, since ultimately BX is where I’d want to end up post-MBA

Crowd sourcing my MBA chances: I’ve graduated from a prestigious school with a 3.5 GPA in Econ, did consulting with big4 for 4 years and now working for Blackstone. Assuming my volunteering and references are solid, what sort of GMAT would I need to get into HBS/GSB ?

740+ and would still be challenging. HBS/GSB are looking for outstanding ECs or outstanding careers. You seem to have “solid” career and EC which will give you a shot, but it won’t be easy
