Reviews about "drink"

Pros
Free coffee at Starbucks and as many free drinks as you want during your shift.
Cons
I worked at store 209 in West Nyack and the managers there are extremely unprofessional. Though I did "no call no show" which is terminable offense, but I was fired via text message.

Pros
- The 40% discount is great - Drink free tea while at work (not like you'll have time to anyway) - If the manager isn't working then you are under less pressure, you still have to sell, but you can sell how you want. And in the end sell more because you don't have someone constantly nagging at you to sell. I think that it really depends on the team and the management you have that either make or break your experience. Espcially if you're a high volume store, and it's sad to say that this job made me really hate retail. Most jobs I've had have been retail and working at a restaurant washing dishes is looking a lot more apealing than working here.
Cons
- Nagging from manager about sales when one is clearly trying. - Hours are based on sales so if you did horrible one week, you'll get 1 four hour shift the next week almost guaranteed. - I have and other coworkers as well have been talked down to and lectured like children when not "doing something right" according to the manager. (No respect)

Pros
Met some of my favorite people! Learned a lot about tea! Got a free drink per shift which was definitely nice.
Cons
Corporate was obviously disorganized. We didn't have a manger for about 9 of the 11 months I was there. The managers they sent in from other stores were either amazing or terrible.

Pros
- I was lucky enough to end up working with a great team! Most of them I consider my friends. - Supportive management. - Flexible with schedule. - Free drinks of tea on shift!
Cons
- Slow to work your way up. Don't expect to be promoted any time soon unless you are amazing at sales. Even then, some people wait around forever to be promoted to anything above a Team Lead. - Awful communication! Have to be on your feet and ready to switch up your script a bit due to slow communication from management. - Not nearly enough to make a living with the amount of work you do.

Pros
Free Tea while working, Store Manager was very flexible when scheduling. New concept tea bar so lots of great tea fusions and drinks to try. Good pay and good Starbucks benefits.
Cons
New concept Tea Bar so processes are very hit and miss. Training while covering a lot of the drink preparation and sales aspects was non existent when it came to management training. A lot of micromanaging from outside the store.

Pros
Free drinks during your shift
Cons
They push you hard to hound the customers and make unrealistic goals. It definitely turns people off and a quick Google search will show that many customers leave perturbed.

Pros
-Free tea (drinks) at work -Sometimes you get to take home the stuff they were going to throw away -30% off items in the store, but not Breville stuff. -Most customers are nice -You get to learn a lot about tea
Cons
-You start at $8 an hour for the job, and you move up to $9 for a Team Lead (unless you work in a state that has a higher min wage) and there are no raises, ever. -You start at part time and you don't go to full time unless you have AMAZING sales, your hours are based on your sales -If they do decide to train you (which they do if you aren't holiday staff) you start with 2 hour shifts for the first 2 weeks (it's about 8 hours a week total) -VERY heavy sales job -Hard to reach enough sales for a 'bonus' which is only 2% of your sales IF you make this much per hour for every hour you work in a month --Low volume store -$50 an hour (for every hour you work for a whole month) --Mid volume store -$60 --High volume store -$70 --Also if you think that you are going to get your bonus during the Christmas season forget it. They raise it to $95 an hour during the holidays. -The daily goals for the store are not very realistic, also you might have a boss that just tells you the same thing over and over, sell! Sell! Sell! -People get catty over sales and sometimes people steal sales from other people. Long story short when I first got there my boss was a good. He was about sales yes, but he actually cared about his staff and was very much a team player. Everyone respected and liked him, but then we got a new boss and that boss was moved to another store. My new boss was horrible, and I was bullied out of my job (I won't get into details to protect my anonymity).

Pros
Free tea drinks while working! Great products to sell for many people in safe environment in Mall.
Cons
High overturn, it really depends on who you work with.

Pros
Unlimited tea to drink while working Discount on all items in store Nice people to work with and very friendly
Cons
Schedule is always different, with not much notice. They almost always schedule you at times when you are unavailable. Management doesn't seem to care about the needs of the employee.
