I have been working at Talentcor full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Innovative and forward thinking. Everyone is respected and encouraged to share ideas. Great benefits - medical/dental/vacation. Opportunity for advancement is great and income potential is above average.

    Cons

Not so much a con of our company but more of our business sector. This is a very demanding business to be in and you need to be passionate about it in order to embrace to the demands - very fast paced - will require some hours outside of 9-5 and can be stressful.

I have been working at Talentcor full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The money is good. The job can be fun.

    Cons

We're in a candidate-short market. You'd think, doing what we do, that we'd be in a unique position to headhunt great people. Instead, there is a propensity to hire whoever is willing to take the job. As lackluster talent continues to stream through the door, more tenured employees slide towards a 'why bother' mentality. Leadership changes so frequently, it's not like anyone will notice.

    Advice to Management

Hire good people. Hint: their resumes aren't on job boards.

    Pros

    None. Waste of time. ...

    Cons

Wasted a day on unpaid training. Wasted half a day trying to get paid. Client workplace was full of scumbags tramping on temps. Racism from the visible minority supervisors.

    Advice to Management

    I worked at Talentcor part-time

    Pros

They share they few pros all other employment agencies have: they get you low-paying jobs and put you to work.

    Cons

They don't really care about the worker. The worker is an asset and is USED to please the client, the client is the most important of the 2.

    Advice to Management

If you depend on the people you hire to make money, at least treat them with decency and respect. Work harder to find a job that suits the worker instead just trying to fill positions with the most lucrative client.

I worked at Talentcor (More than a year)

    Pros

    a couple of good co-workers

    Cons

After re-brand, two direct reports, pitting people against each other, ate away the team that was "Award winning".....just like a cancer. Adult bullying......very scary that this happens today.

    Advice to Management

Clean house again, you made money before and had retention. Greed = death of reputation and harms people.

I have been working at Talentcor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I don't know what the person in that other review was going on about. First of all, there's nothing wrong with being a sandwich artist, and secondly, you're obviously a disgruntled former employee settling a grudge. Self-important much? This company is filled with really nice employees who are a blast to spend time with, and who care about you as a person. It has one of the best commission-structures in the city, and you have the opportunity to earn in accordance with the effort and skill that you put into the job.

    Cons

Account managers do have to do business development, but the targets are reasonable and it's not cut-throat like other agencies. Your colleagues won't be out there trying to steal your contacts or step on your toes.

    Advice to Management

The chocolate-to-work ratio is completely fantastic, good job. As long as the focus continues to be on fairness and transparency, you'll be just fine.
