I worked at Talentcor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good environment. Hectic at times but that is part of the business. Creativity is practically an requirement in order to succeed.

    Cons

Personalities who can't think outside of the box or aren't able to self-manage will not thrive in this environment.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes there are people in the company who need to be let go because they aren't performing or creating at toxic work environment. Management needs to be better/faster at dealing with those situations. Don't be afraid to pull the trigger when you know "that dog don't hunt no more"

I have been working at Talentcor full-time

    Pros

    None that come to mind

    Cons

Been registered for 2 yrs. only 1 placement lasted 5 wks. PATHETIC

    Advice to Management

Quit misleading employees about job opportunities in Tillsonburg . Placements only given to certain employees not based on skill level. If for some reason the recruiter dislikes you can forget getting a placement. Been with this agency for 2 yrs. received 1 placement that lasted 5 wks. PATHETIC you might want to replace all of the recruiters and get some that actually place employees based on skill not personalities

    I worked at Talentcor full-time

    Pros

Good commission structure, flexible working hours.

    Cons

Money is the most important of all for management and overall company structure. HR complaints go into the back of the closet, and are not dealt with, especially if that individual is making money. High turnover at the branch and national level. Management takes commission cuts that they do not earn, and when it's brought to the attention of management, it's simply looked over. Multiple employee complaints about the same HR issues, and nothing is done over a few years with multiple employees leaving because of it; money is more important than the well-bring of their employees. A very toxic work environment that made going to work like walking on eggshells.

    Advice to Management

Take HR complaints seriously and action them immediately. Work with employees to solve the issues and create forums for employees to make changes in a positive manner. Money is important, but so are your employees making the money. The turnover you're experiencing nationally is due to your lack of focus on employee moral.

    Talentcor Response

    24 Jan, 2018 – Employer Representative

Thank you for your review. Your complaint regarding commissions was heard and measures have been taken to rectify your concerns. We do have one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry.
