I have been working at State Street Global Markets full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

At times, interesting projects and ideas

    Cons

    - The bureaucracy kills all innovation and advancement. This firm is set up for failure due to the constant hoops and immense red tape. - Lack is diversity. It’s not a surprise here but you’d think they’d do something after the large lawsuits that occurred indicating unfair treatment to women and people of color. Again, this stifles innovation and success. - Pay is terrible for people who stay longer, which makes it shocking to see how many people actually stay 20+ years. The majority of people love to complain but never move and that is why the company stays the way it is.
