      the environment is very dynamic. It is a friendly environment, we have a soccer team, basketball team, toastmaster... a lot of activities to make it pleasant for people to come to work.

      Convenient localization Close to the metro Nice building Not a good place to work Weak leadership

      Cons

      No respect for employees If you refuse to work overtime you will get fired Managers play favoritism, especially if you are from India HR is never present at the office You will be fired if you get sick False training promises

      Good Location. Free coffee. Friendly work environment.

      Cons

      Some manager over-sell the positions to cadidates. Poor HR department. Poor salaries compared to the overall market.

      Listen to employees. Make decent offers.

        Pros

        - Great physical location - Good first programming job: Some managers are great and open to suggestions, thus allowing some employees a lot of freedom when it comes to architecting/designing applications. If part of a team, this can be a good learning experience - A lot of organized events (e.g. AWS workshop)

        Cons

        - Open office - Constant phone ringing - A lot of time wasted waiting on permissions to be given and resources to be supplied - Absurdly small laptop - No admin on laptops, only "approved" software can be installed- Past a certain point, the only way to get a higher salary is by becoming a manager and filling your schedule with meetings, thus leaving you with no time to code. - Low salary - Some employees...

        Advice to Management

        - Stop using buzzwords all the time. A lot of claims advertised by SG recruiters are lies. - Work on your recruiting process. I've seen a few good programmers leave because they weren't being offered a decent salary, whereas some not-so-good programmers were given higher salaries based on their education. No discrimination intented -- some people are better than others at certain tasks -- and you should aim for quality...
