      Pros

$18.00/h is nice for retail Most staff was nice

      Cons

OVERNIGHT STOCKING IS DONE BY STORE STAFF NOT AN OUTSIDE CONTRACTOR EXPECT TO WORK OVERNIGHTS RANDOMLY THOUGHT THE MONTH ITS A WORKOUT HEAVY BOXES, THOUSANDS OF PAIRS OF SHOES, NO HELP!!! Extremely busy Low staff Staff assigned random tasks while doing current tasks/ helping customers and expected to drop everything for said new task with disregard for customer service Most shifts are from 1pm-9:30pm Only 2 people ever get morning shifts(always store manager and maybe an ASM) Randoms stock deliveries causing people to stay late Docked performance points for saying you're tired or stressed. That is a company policy Inability to use staff restroom in stock room due to boxes blocking doors(as of last time in store)

      Amazing environment

      Pros

Everyone I worked with at Skechers (both at my main location and the temporary one when I moved back home for the summer), have really nice and friendly people. My coworkers were hardworking and dedicated, but also fun to be around which made me look forward to going to work. You also get a free pair of shoes when you start and another after you completed a year there. You also get 50% off everything, but can only buy up to 4 pairs of shoes a month.

      Cons

The only cons I can think of are the hours and how strenuous closings can be. Depending on how busy the store is, you may get between 4.5 - 6 hour shifts. However, if you are working at a busier location, you will most likely get 8 hours shifts, which often result in 30 minutes to 1 hour in overtime if you are doing closing. These busier locations have very tiring closings as they take a toll on your legs from constantly bending and kneeling. It will take some time to get used to of course, and after some time it won't be as difficult.
