I worked at Sinai Health System (Canada)

    Pros

Benefits, some coworkers, close to Queens Park Station

    Cons

Ever since the merge with Bridgepoint and Circle of Care, it has been a huge mess. The difference in the work culture amongst the campuses are too different that there are always conflicts when working with each other. For example, Mount Sinai staff feel Bridgepoint staff are incompetent just because they are a smaller campus, and often gives attitude. A lot of staff just works for their paycheck/9-5 and refusing to help onboard others. Someone once called me to say they "didn't want to dig through the pile of documents" so please scan over a copy so they don't have to do it. Can't believe people like them can keep a job. There's a fear of consequences when speaking up. So many people have left even without a job lined up because they would rather be unemployed than stay any longer. Even clinical staff/physicians say how terrible their teams are - unhelpful coworkers, people who are arrogant, etc.
