      Pros

Company policy on a national level was good.

      Cons

Company support and management on a local level was not great. There was a lot of nepotism involving upper management. Wages were nowhere near where they should have been for the position. Only a few properties in the area, with long term management, no room for advancement until someone retires.

      Pros

Great company with good support from upper management. Willing to stand behind their projects, employees and former employees. Good benefits, compensation and a fair corporate culture. Most employees when hired are there for a extended period.

      Cons

Opportunities for internal advancement are very limited to non existent. Most employees stay in their positions and do not advance up the ladder.

      Better than most

      Pros

Great people, salary and product. I love the laid back culture and management style. Freedom to do my job and leave happy at the end of the day.

      Cons

Minimal room for advancement. Seems as if you must already hold a title to transfer to another community in that position. Upper management appears unwilling to take chances on tenured employees who exhibit necessary skills for promotion.

Workplace bullying , Managment turning a blind eye

      Pros

Good pay if you've been there for a while. Great insurance and 401 plans. The company will spend the money on maintaining the properties.

      Cons

NO room for any advance to upper positions. HR ONLY will listen to ONE side of any story or problem an employee may encounter in the workplace ( always taking managments side). Most upper management seem to think they are MUCH better than the LOW MAN ON THE TOTEM POLE. The place I worked had so much workplace bullying from mainly one superviser toward all persons in their controll.

      Pros

Family oriented environment, people are friendly, vertically integrated so there are many people you can tap for knowledge.Open door policy, upper management is available to talk if you have questions.

      Cons

salary is low compared to others in the industry. formal reviews, such as, performance reviews are not taken seriously. sometimes i felt like the environment needs to be a little more intense.
