    Paid lunch breaks Flexible schedules Understanding management On the rise Simply green is a great opportunity to learn about the home heating and cooling industry. With a great upper management and hard workers the company offers a great vision for anyone’s future. They are very flexible in terms of schedules and time off and upper management is very approachable and treats the majority of people well. I see very good things in the future for SGHS as long as they move to a quality over quantity approach in their recruiting process.

    Shady business tactics Lack of opportunities Lack of transparency My biggest issue with simply green was the message they tried to send vs how things actually were. I will not comment on their business tactics or approaches because that is not for me to discuss as upper management definitely knows how to run a company better than me. However, the morale, especially in the mid-to-low level positions is very low. Various team members constantly complaining and discussing better opportunities pushed me away. My advice to upper management: be more transparent, not everyone can be a manager and that is okay. My advise to lower management: if you don’t know what you’re talking about shut your mouth, stop complaining, or find another job. Simply green from an employee perspective is absolutely fine, I just worry about their Recruitment process as it seems they’ll let just about anyone work there. Development and innovation comes from quality, not quantity.

    Tasks are simple, laid back and friendly staff

    Cons

    Incredibly shady practices and no communication between departments. Sales does not care they are increasing the customer base way higher than repair and service can handle, was instructed to withold certain information from customers, customer documents absorbed from other companies were often lost, missing or filed incorrectly, many more serious customer issues were only handled when the BBB finally had to get involved. Office was open for long evening and weekend hours with no manager or supervisor. QA only reviewed sales calls which meant phone manners on evening customer service calls were not monitored at all - this was taken advantage of by some employees.
