Pros
- Decent employee discount. - Sometimes you get breaks.
Cons
-Store owner, store management and dept. management were very apathetic to issues brought up. Dept. staff were unresponsive to new ideas or suggestions of any kind. -I was usually on staff alone during peak times (between 4-6pm) and found it challenging to serve customers while on shift alone at this time. -Very little freedom to be creative with merchandizing or dept. decor, and in essence, the stores all look homogenous and cookie-cutter. - Lack of organic/natural products to recommend or purchase. - Uniforms are outdated and made of itchy and suffocating polyester fibers. -Late hours and open during holidays which negates work/life balance. -Did not receive a performance review or raise in more than 1 year on staff.
