Nothing really except the Big name

As a former employee, I regret to say that my experience has been disappointing. Working here has been a stressful experience due to the numerous and complicated Marriott standards that we are expected to follow. These standards are extremely demanding, and as a result, the workload is often overwhelming. Moreover, the guests who stay at this hotel have high expectations, and many of them expect the same level of service and amenities that they would receive in other countries. Unfortunately, many of these guests are unaware of the fact that it is much more expensive to do it in Sweden than in those countries and hotels are forced to save on it. The pressure to meet these expectations has taken a toll on both my physical and mental health. I felt constantly stressed and overworked which led to me feeling burned out. It was disheartening to see how little support I received from my superiors, who themselves were often overwhelmed by their administrative work and had no time for team development. Overall, I would not recommend working at Sheraton Stockholm hotel. The stress and pressure are simply too much to bear, and the lack of support and development opportunities make it difficult to see a future here. I would say that Sheraton though is not unique with these problems - it is something which describes hotel industry in general.
