    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Service Canada full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good pay, pension and benefits Flexible working hours depending on your position/department

    Cons

Difficult to advance if you don't live in Toronto or Ottawa Footprint prevents talent from being the driving force in advancement as they will hire someone without the best experience over another candidate if they are located in the area they have deemed for each position. Hard to transfer out to other departments Competitions for jobs are extremely onerous on the employee and don't reflect true abilities.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the best talent as the most important factor over location. Telework, virtual work and partial commuting could solve those problems.
