      Honest review

      Pros

I do believe that sps has many things that they do right you accrue your pto and vacation time biweekly, HR is very quick to respond to any issues, and if you don’t like the department you’re in you can always apply out to a different department which normally has a completely different vibe than where you started. It is also a very stable company I have never worried about losing my job once during this pandemic. If ever there wasn’t enough work the company would find other places where help was needed.

      Cons

I do believe that SPS is getting cheap with their employees. What compensation used to be, with bonuses or even switching departments is so much less than it was even a year ago. Many of the work that we have handled up to this point has been off shored to India resulting in a lesser quality of work and more work for those of us here to correct their mistakes. I do believe that this off shoring of work has led to the lesser pay of their employees here. This has made me want to leave the company. Depending on the department, it is very difficult to address issues with management and be heard. At times it can be almost intimidating to speak up.

      Pros

We do the right thing because it's the right thing to do. Management believes, supports, and lives this from the CEO down. They are opportunities for those who want them and are willing to work for it.

      Cons

Intense culture is not for everyone

      Good Work

      Pros

Good health care and incentives. Average pay Good Management

      Cons

Management in the Foreclosure department is the worst. The Supervisor's in that department mostly don't know a thing about what they are doing. There is no organization, not even sure that some of the Supervisor's are qualified to be a supervisor. If you are wanting to apply for this company, skip this department. Management only favors people they like and will only promote the people they like. It doesn't matter if they are the worst and slack the most in the team.

      Pros

Some of the supervisors care about your success Pay is good Benefits are good CEO is really cool guy and a great leader, but the rest of the way down it gets to be that there are too many bosses and everyone is out for themselves.

      Cons

Terrible communication in upper management Tools they want you to use are incomplete however they look down on using experience as a resource Its hit or miss with the supervisors, some of them have your back some of them will throw you to the wolves Systems and resources will just simply not work from time to time Unless you are hired into the role you want, you have to be really good at customer care before you can transfer to another department. Even if its not a good fit for your skill set Work environment is very liberalized. Makes it difficult to build any real friendships or comraderie there unless you are of like mind Not good for anyone who is focused on customer service and providing a great and fun experience for their customers. This is 100% a debt collecting job with highlights of assisting customers get out of foreclosure.
