Cons
Stability of the oilfield is boom or bust, when oil took a down turn we cut over 1/2 of our staff

Pros
Good company culture with lots of fun events to enhance team building. Management was always supportive and there were opportunities for promotions.
Cons
Slow for personal expense reimbursements for field work. Communication among the different groups was not very strong and if improved could provide cost savings for the company as well as for the clients.

Pros
Coworkers are educated and pleasant, great team-building activities and days, mostly flexible with time off and scheduling, autonomy in day-to-day tasks
Cons
It's widely known that most people working here full time are dissatisfied and actively job searching. Pay is below average and employees in some divisions have not received a wage increase in over three years, despite being promoted within that time. Lots of management changes and turnover in the past year.

Pros
Secure energy services has employed me for over 5 years now. It has been awesome working here. Great team, great people, everyone knows how to have fun and get things done. They care about us and provide training and career development through their Professional Development Plan program. Over all, it's been great working at Secure
Cons
Hard to get new hires. Hard to get cost of living raises.

Pros
Lots of team building events, excellent community support raising money for many different worthy causes. They promote from within. Room for advancement. Great work life balance and the ability to work from home.
Cons
There are issues in the finance department specifically with in AP management and noone seems to do anything about it. Low performing staff is kept on even though they do not fit within the Secure culture. High turnover in finance department due to poor middle management.

Pros
Wonderful Team Spirit - I have met some of my best friends here and there are always social events going on In most departments there is great recognition for high-performing employees Growth has outpaced anything I could have imagined - with a share price to match Good benefits plan with coverage of Gym Memberships Most managers are very fair with regards to work-life balance
Cons
The extremely fast-paced growth of the company has left some of the HR benefits lacking when compared to other companies in the same industry/geography There is a gap still to be bridged between the 'old' company values and the new values of all the many employees being taken on Work-life balance needs some improvement
