I have been working at Scotiabank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Opportunity to grow with the company

    Cons

Some managers micro-manage and like to show they are the boss. they do not value their employees that are doing the hard job of being on the phones all day long. measured on way too many metrics that impact your yearly bonus. My job title has changed more than 4 times in my 2 years of working here and they just keep adding more things for us to learn and do but is not part of my accountabilities.

Great internship and co-op initiatives for networking, career development, and socials ! There is a focus shift on technology and upcoming opportunities at the bank. Good first office job.

    Cons

Less structure for internships/co-ops regarding specific jobs. However, experiences depend on managers.
