    some branches/departments end up stuck w bad managers and if you end up with one it significantly changes the experience

    Pros

    There's stability and some managers are willing to accommodate to your schedule.

    Cons

    Work load doesn't match paygrade (more work than expected), little to no support in onboarding/training process, coaching relatively ineffective. Most branches will want you "stuck" in the position (i.e. management does not actively push for you to move higher up unless you fight for it).
