I have been working at Scotiabank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good people, stability, decent benefits, and is a large organization so there's lots of mobility and growth. Generally, a relaxed work culture.

    Cons

Poor senior management leadership, sometimes projects and initiatives feel like they are spinning their wheels and are poorly managed leading to inefficiency and waste. Not a good environment if you want to challenge the status quo or get things done quickly. Internal politics creates highly dysfunctional operating structure.

    Advice to Management

Approach growth with a longer term mentality . Be more bold, otherwise risk always being behind the other large Canadian banks (TD, RBC).
