    Pros

Amazing learning opportunities/ chances to accelerate your career. They hire top talent and every single employee will go out of their way to help others.

    Cons

The first couple of months is very focused on ramping up to the demands of the job - luckily, you will always be paired with a mentor who will help you with this change.

I have been working at Salesforce full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Everyone wants to win. A company filled with top talent who are dedicated to furthering their careers within Salesforce, and thus producing incredible results. Even though it's competitive, everyone supports each other in their journey.

    Cons

Can be challenging understanding org structure with such a large and complex sales machine.

I have been working at Salesforce full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great product and a company that has an uncanny ability to sell the dream.

    Cons

For a company that prides itself on Customer Success, they do the exact opposite. Managers encourage AEs to bleed customers for every penny that they have and to be extremely agressive while doing so. Also, management is not present at all, unless it's the last of the month or quarter end . Conservatively, I would say that Small business Sales managers are in the office less than 15% of the time and take the... approach that they are not "baby-sitters" and dont do anything outside of pipeline management. There is zero guidance to new employees and 1:1s with all employees are cancelled and not rescheduled at least 50% of the time. Management will often hide out in a booked room all day, outside of the office, to avoid being on the sales floor and having to deal with Account Executives that need guidance, advice or help. They leave the other employees to pick up the slack of management that would prefer not come in at all, hide out in an office, or "work" from home.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach and put customers first. Also, since Montreal is a hub, there needs to be more visibility into what goes on in the Montreal office from management in Toronto. It is simply unacceptable that management is never in the office at a company like SFDC.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Salesforce full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Depends heavily on the role & org or group you're in . Good base pay and benefits. Incredibly smart people throughout the company. Ability to work in different organizations. Flexibility to work remotely.

    Cons

Unattainable goals. Internal bureaucracy and fighting is worse than I've seen anywhere by far. Zero work-life balance. Expectations to take calls/respond to emails anytime of day/night 7 days a week. Only objective is to sell more to clients, not what's best for their clients. Do not live by the image they portray externally.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach. Actually align with other leaders in the org. opposed to placing AE's between internal bureaucracy.
