    I worked at SNC-Lavalin full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Many projects
    2. Somewhat good structure

    Cons

    1. Can make you redundant at any time
    2. Internal promotions do not exist
    3. Last time, me and the worst performer got the same raise (around 2%) so performance evaluation is really not up to standard

    Advice to Management

Employee turnaround is high and you haven't done anything to address this. Ofcourse, the management is busy dealing with scandals and corruption charges since 2012

    I worked at SNC-Lavalin full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

benefits, profit sharing, co-workers, flex hours of you get good manager , if you get decent manager support you may work yourself up otherwise you are screwed and thrown under the bus

    Cons

Management clueless, lots of useless reporting that serves no purpose, people in managing positions that are just filling space, HR is not on side of employees, waste of time reporting as nothing happens until happens to you, property managing is not their foret...stick to engineering services , too much bad publicity for company

    Advice to Management

wake up stop believing your middle management it's your ground staff producing results that need support. playing golf and smooching clients is getting you no where, stop with your fancy programs and get to ground level dig deep with people promote correctly encourage and train those who have potential...you lost many good people because you did nothing but listen to the ones who felt threatened by the worker bees
