StarStarStarStarStarNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Rogers Communications
Pros
Discount, work from home, insurance plan, pension plan, paid volunteer day, paid sick days.
Cons
Call centres are the worse. Management is never around. When you seek assistance they look away. Floor supper is rammed. Call centre politics by management, senior management make it a toxic place. You are not allowed to go above and beyond you must stay on your lane. Upper management is not aware of the toxic environment the call centres have especially the Durham location. You must work mandatory over time. No... accommodation for child care or emergencies. If you are not in the in crowd you are not going to be helped. You can not be sick more then one day per month or you lose your payout, if you are sick more then 3 times in a quarter you will get written up. Management is not about the employee experience they are about the amount of less work they have to do.

Start doing mandatory checks on your cell centre sites without informing anyone on the sites and speak to your front line if you truly want to change the culture and environment.

Pros
Lots of opportunities. Great people. They invest in their employees.
Cons
Old fashioned corp org is not ready for today's challenges. CEO and upper management vision and direction does not get trickled down to working level. Structure and process does not allow for a lot of innovation.
Advice to Management
Rethink the structure. Give more flexibility to your teams. Put the customer first and focus on long-term strategies.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Rogers Communications full-time for more than a year
Pros
-phone bill discount -manager who got got stuck with us is super dedicated -made me really appreciate getting a higher education so I never have to deal with the level of nonsense this company gets away with.
Cons
-upper management doesn't care at all -high turn over rate, there is always understaffing -area manager could care less about us and leaves us with only one manager when it's a dual brand store
Advice to Management
Actually support slower stores instead of just focusing on the busy stores. You neglect and use your dedicated employees. You are the worst kinds of humans

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Rogers Communications full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
The people on the team were great! I've never worked with a more dedicated and passionate group of people. They made coming to work everyday worth it
Cons
Upper management doesn't care about exploiting employees and ensuring that they are set up for success. Incompetent people seem to all fail up the ladder, instead of being let go. Big corporate culture that only cares about getting the most out of you and providing no opportunities for growth. They'll only care once you hand in your letter of resignation. The only way to move up is to leave and come back.

Pros
Salary, benefits, colleagues, rebates on services
Cons
Upper management, work in solos, against change and improvement
Advice to Management
Listen to your employees suggestions - you hire smart professionals not to tell them what to do but for them to tell you what to do.

Pros
Good benefits and employee discounts on company products. Possibility of buying company shares and company contributes 25% the first year, 33% the second and 50% starting on the 3rd year but must register to the Share accumulation plan.
Cons
Lately, upper management on some Departments impose decision without accepting employees inputs. Stressful environment mostly due to unorganized ways of doing things.
Advice to Management
Listen to your employees more, value their contribution . Actually walk the talk, otherwise you're losing credibility.
