I worked at Rogers Communications full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I would like to say my contentment at having worked at Rogers Communications Canada Inc. The learning and rising opportunities I received at this company are precious to me and I will remember my experience here for the rest my life. A huge and very clean workplace at Brampton Park, The walls, ceiling, floor, cubicles, and everything is bursted with art and colors. Gigantic car parking lots. Indoor gym, quiet prayer rooms, huge cafeterias, employees personal Tim Hortons, and great training rooms, Rogers employee share accumulation plan, retirement plan, medical and dental insurance, employee walk-a-mile program, Rogers products employee discount, Auto insurance discount, and many well-mannered, in-house well trained, and friendly employees.

    Cons

Cons may vary through individual experiences, but as a whole, Rogers is a great place to work!

    Advice to Management

Keep up with the good work, and make this place a happy workplace

    Pros

    - benefits
    - selling the best phones
    - fairly good training
    - decent hours for part time

    Cons

    - not the best pay
    - training depends on how good your manager is
    - sometimes pressure is a bit much to sell
    - so many different products and services with promos going on and off

    Advice to Management

    - invest in better training and make it mandatory to train all employees in each system
    - pay out better commission

    Pros

    *Coworkers are amazing

    *Amazing perks like discounted tickets

    Cons

*some of the leaders that have been around for a long time need to step into the current century
*No a young organisation, therefore a lot of oldies who cannot restrict innovation

    Advice to Management

*Encourage the oldies to retiree and open up opportunities for young and vibrant thinking
*Need better telecommuting options. We have the best technology, however older managers still want to have meetings in person. Get with the new century!
