I worked at Rogers Communications full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, 50% off Rogers services. Shares accumulation plan it's really good.

    Cons

Too much nepotism. Management skilsl are not the more accurate for the excellent quality of professionals managers have to handle. Focus on the management and not the regular employees when the need to cut people arises

    Advice to Management

Keep an eye on management, there's a lot of nepotism and that's very discouraging., prevents excellent people and professionals to do an excellent job

I have been working at Rogers Communications (More than a year)

    Pros

The company is undergoing a transformation with sharespace and new cafeteria and new meeting spaces.

    Cons

Though they are promoting career advancement, green space, new workplace technologies and changing the way people think, there are a few old school folks and nepotism still exists.

They are not able to retain skilled and talented employees

    Pros

The staff are understanding and team oriented. The overall atmosphere is underwhelming yet somewhat bareable because the staff are nice and down to earth. I can't say the same for customers and management however.

    Cons

The customers are almost always rude and uncooperative which I understand, however to due management bad attitude and demeanor with its employees don't make the job any more worth it.

    Advice to Management

Management should really consider treating employees better as the already deal with arragont and disrespectful people on a day to Day basis
