I worked at Rodeo Realty full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A good place to start, help with marketing, basic sales training, No charge for color printing, supportive admin staff, depending on the branch office some managers are outstanding.

    Cons

High turnover in management, siloed communication, lack collaboration and sharing of best practices, better learning outside the company than within, very old school approach to marketing, no clear vision for the future.

I have been working at Rodeo Realty full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I started as an assistant manager and was fortunate to be quickly promoted to Branch Manager. In addition to my promotion, I have witnessed several people accept advancement opportunities within the company. Whenever we have an openings at the branch level, we are encouraged to check with our corporate office to see if there may be someone who is ready to promote. A few of my agents have become assistant managers. I have had receptionists move up to become Office Administrators. At least 3 of my assistant managers have became branch managers. A number of receptionists and office administrators within the company have earned their real estate sales licences and have become successful agents. I even interviewed a young man for a week end receptionist position. I told him to train to be a fill-in temp receptionist so that when a full-time position became available, he would get hired immediately. This young man became the receptionist at another branch. He was promoted to be my office administrator. He was later transferred to the Corporate office and helped open one of our newer offices as their office administrator. He then earned his real estate license and is now a very successful salesperson. Real estate is a very competitive business that serves the public 24-7 at the customers' convenience. At Rodeo Realty, our agents get incredible training, valuable tools, countless resources, and live, hands-on support to best serve their clients. That means we appreciate our support staff who have helpful attitudes, a desire to learn and grow in their job skills, and who want to pursue excellence. Syd Leibovitch is an amazing business man. His passion and understanding of the Real Estate Industry and his commitment to mentoring agents to reach incredible levels of success is what still inspires me to go the extra mile for our Rodeo Realty agents!

    Cons

This company is not the place for people who are not self starters or who are happy being mediocre at their job.

I have been working at Rodeo Realty full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I love working for Rodeo Realty, every day is different and unpredictable and never, ever boring! Like every other job, life is what you make of it! The CEO, Syd Leibovitch, loves all of his agents like his own children. He is always available to take your phone call or reply to an email no matter how ridiculous it may be. He is an amazing business man that has made a boutique brokerage and turned it into a leading luxury residential real estate firm. He encourages everyone to get their real estate license so there is always great career opportunities if you take the initiative. Benefits include health insurance after 90 days, a 401k plan with the employer matching a percentage of that contribution to the retirement plan. Paid vacations and national holidays. This company provides everything that any other company provides to its employees and then some.

    Cons

You need to be an aggressive go-getter with thick skin that can adapt to any situation or personality.

I have been working at Rodeo Realty full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I have been a Real Estate Agent with Rodeo Realty since 1987. Syd, the owner, is a true professional. He is very kind to the agents and to the employees. He always goes out of his way to help them and to grow with Rodeo Realty. Whenever someone quits, they always come back, because they realize how good Syd was to them.

    Cons

Nothing negative to say about the Company

I have been working at Rodeo Realty full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great environment and work place for people who want to be successful. Syd Leibovitch runs a great ship, and creates an atmosphere that's conducive to success. What a pleasure it is to be a part of and witness first hand how a great company is run. If you want to be successful and your not afraid of work , there is no better place to be. I have been with Rodeo Realty for 12 years, eight as a realtor and four as a Branch Manager and I'm proud to be part of this Great Organization. From Corporate to all 12 branch offices Rodeo Realty is a model of consistency and support to all those who work here. There is no better place to be!

    Cons

Solid and consistent growth with the arrow pointing upwards.

I worked at Rodeo Realty full-time for more than a year

    Pros

My co- workers. My immediate boss was great.

    Cons

The stress Syd puts on everyone. Working at corporate was hard, every day you come in you gave no idea who is gone. Some people are fired the very next day after being hired. Everyone is terrified by Syd. I believe the company is not doing well what with legal troubles and all of the cut backs. Two weeks ago there were two jobs posted for graphic designer and in bold they state that they pay $17.31 hour (I have copies of the ads). Who does that? They want someone who has a BA and knows all the programs plus can handle temperamental real estate agents and pays just above minimum wage? Crazy. I was told by someone close to Syd that he pits employees against each other. I didn’t believe it until he did it to me.

I worked at Rodeo Realty full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Alot of down time. A good place to start early in your career and then progress to a better more reputable company. If you have gaps in your employment history, and trying to get back into the workforce, this is the place for you.

    Cons

Terrible company to work for, if you are a person of color you will be overlooked. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! You will be paid way below an appropriate compensation. The president of the company is so incredibly cheap. HR was going through an investigation. The turnover rate is so crazy! Lawsuits up the wazoooooo. I could go on and on.

I worked at Rodeo Realty full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great brand to work for and some of the agents are very friendly

    Cons

Sadly, lots of micromanagement. It would depend on who is the manager you are working for as some individuals expect WAYYYY more from Admin/Reception (ie: fresh coffee every 2-3 hours). Very little stimulation for a college grad, unless you are a former agent OR are familiar working for a Real Estate agency (5 years minimum).
