      Work schedule

      Pros

You get to be off on national holidays, that's always nice. They train you to get your cdl license. Off one weekend, Sundays. A good starter job.

      Cons

6 days work schedule. Average 10 hours a day. It can be more up to 16 hours. Mondays to Saturdays of long hours. Some jobs you get to deal with difficult people, usually very impatient too. If you pass and earn your cdl license you have to work at least 2 years or you pay back for the training, 6k.

      Pros

Paid training, and you get experience. Good benefits tho.

      Cons

Long hours for little pay for the work you do there. Lowest paying Readymix driving company ever. $16 the fist year. The same as a Mc. Donalds cashier. Then $19. Cemex with start you out at $22. $24 with experience. When the slow season comes,September-March. Be prepared to work 9 hours a week. The rest goes to seniority.

      Pros

Lots of work at Robertson's, if you like driving your good, most of the time dispatch is cool and will set you up for good runs once they know you "clock in" to work. Pay attention to co-workers they will gladly give you pointers on most any situations. Look to make between 47 to 63k on average annually

      Cons

I would have to say long hours, heavy traffic and mandatory Saturdays although you can opt out some but don't get carried away.

      Pros

Decent wages, Hours not to bad depending on location and time of year. Most plant managers are ok to work for. Good if you like to work solo as part of a team.

      Cons

Some times long hours, and company does not always consider driver safety or HOS rules set by DOT. Not a lot of upward mobility.
