Pros

No pros to speak of

Cons

-Claim to be like a family business, but I think they mean the dysfunctional type of "family" -Best performers are given 99% of the workload, where the worst performers are given 99% of the raises -Data is constantly fudged by engineering to make failed tests seem like they passed -Priorities are nonsense, safety hazards are ignored, maintenance is pushed off, but at least there's a dart board that nobody uses in the cafeteria -Management doesn't give a f*ck about you, even when injured, they don't do anything to solve the root cause, or even ask if you're ok -Every all-employee meeting going over the financials is "we're losing money still, but keep up the good work team" idiocracy

Horrendous, worst employer of my 20+ year career.

Pros

Co-workers. They're good people, knowledgeable and the only rhing that makes this place some what bearable.

Cons

Poor management outlook, lack of modernization, poor quality with no plan to fix or correct issues that have been known for years. Senior leadership lacks ethics. No future growth plan other than make stuff that's cheap. Decades behind rest of industry in product capabilities, process control, quality control and technology as a whole. if you wish to see what the auto/supplier industry was like 20 years ago...this is the place for you.

Pros

MAT Holdings is a good company to work at. Benefits and pay are acceptable and flexible hours are an added feature

Cons

Mid-level managers are inadequate and due to the shortage of employees should be working managers in support of their staff, they are NOT. This level of management drives the low moral and dissatisfaction among the employees.
