I have been working at Ricoh Canada full-time

    Pros

Flexible work environment, bonus incentives, lots of training opportunities, diverse work force, national presence, customer focused

    Cons

Communication process could be improved within the organization, very competitive industry, long to medium-term strategy by the leadership is unclear, not always customer focused.

    Advice to Management

Focus on improving your work culture. Focus less on reading from teleprompters and emails and more direct interactions with ground-level workers.

I worked at Ricoh Canada full-time

    Pros

    Good Location, office is new.

    Cons

Executive Management lacks vision and ability. Too much OLD BOYs network gets in the way of doing and improving. Management promotes people based on years of tenure and politics rather than merit and ability. Promotes incompetent people based of politics.

    Advice to Management

Clean house and put the right people in positions based on Merit rather than politics. Take a look at yourselves and create an improvement plan.

I worked at Ricoh Canada full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very respectful, open and communicative environment. I was hired by an amazing director who was open to my thoughts and ideas. He empowered me to do my best and encouraged me when I was doing a good job along with provided guidance when needed.

    Cons

The long term strategies were not clearly defined. There was no plan or sales objectives shared therefore it was difficult to understand where the focus should be.

I worked at Ricoh Canada full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great coworkers, good benefits package, modern clean work environment, room for growth and promotion

    Cons

Low rate of pay, high stress, little to no reward intensive for hard work

    Advice to Management

Pay scale is very low in relation to the level of work and stress placed on employees. The Ontario wage increase will go some way to help this but intensive on Ricoh's part is necessary as general employee moral is low.

    Pros

Some laughs but overall, very stressful.

    Cons

business processes, commissions, training are no good. Everything takes for ever to do, commissions are usually wrong and bonuses are not paid accurately (more work for me to go back and make sure, I'm being paid fairly)
