    I have been working at Rexall part-time for less than a year

    Basically clock in and clock out

    Cons

    Really focused on the bottom line. Regional manager just puts so much pressure to meet quota and push for services even if it's not for the benefits of patients. Overworked and understaffed workplace. If you value your well-being and have respect for yourself, NEVER work there! Management does NOT care about you at all.

    Stop pushing for quotas and pay better.

    Decent Pay, Good coworkers (for the most part), and Enjoyed Helping the Customers

    Cons

    Long hours with no breaks, insufficient support staff, unrealistic expectations from management, not enough feedback and poor communication from management, not enough support from management, time to complete all tasks, abuse from customers, all of which will lead to poor mental and physical health in any normal human being.

    Advice to Management

    You and your company are going to crash and burn if things do not change for the better. icare is a joke. You do not care about your employees or customers. The only thing this company cares about is making money. Allow for adequate staffing, allow the pharmacists to perform their professional duties, don't rush new employees to learn their roles, and don't be too pushy re meeting quotas. Do not expect employees to... be super-human. Be approachable. Be Helpful. Encourage. Support. If you do, the business will take care of itself.

    good pay good staff discount program

    Cons

    stressful place to work, low morale and poisonous environment managers are slave drivers they give you 60% and expect 180% for the money they pay it is not worth the stress

    bad workers are a reflection of bad management workers don’t leave good company they leave bad bosses.

    Marginally better rates for pharmacists compares to market at expense of everything else

    Cons

    Terrible culture, poor executives lacking skill, vision and compassion. Previous owner was notorious for being a vicious money grabber who molded the company into his own image. McKesson hasn’t succeeded yet in changing the ways of the company from the old days of Katz’s group. If the old ways were working Katz wouldn’t have been so eager to dumb to the next willing buyer. It’s ways are failing, it’s losing market... share, it’s losing respect of both clients and employees. Change your for the sake of all that is holy! Would you also stop stealing from the government in the name of professional services we all know are substandard and below expectations.

    Advice to Management

    Change your executive team and have a fresh start. Change your ways and treat your people well. Motivate your staff rather than using the whip. Katz is gone, bury his ways and become humans and not rabid money hungry cannibals.
