    Pros

Genuine, considerate, and kind team environment. Very emotionally supportive culture with lasting relationships. Cross functional teams display positive work ethic, will bend over backwards for the business, and cultures a collaborate team environment with limited politics. Very limited drama between co-workers and everyone genuinely wants the business to do well. Employees generally passionate about products. Periodical distribution of free samples in both cosmetics and hair care. Half day Fridays are honored and which many employees take advantage of.

    Cons

Limited accountability so in the event of issue occurrence, trying to find a solution or process is consistent with "shooting-in-the-dark." Extremely limited training and on-boarding documentation. Very much a hands-off environment. Consistent restructures and little communication and transparency. Will continuously change roles, team members, and job description without employee consent or awareness. New roles and re-categorization of teams are just dictated. Very limited growth opportunities. Lack of processes and strong leadership. Business operations and meeting customer demands are more reactive than proactive which cultures a fire-fighting approach. Limited resources, mentorship, and generally if an issue is encountered or analytical information is required, it's a do-it-yourself culture. System support, analytical insights, and databases extremely scarce.

    Advice to Management

Revlon is extremely broken. Lack of business processes, resources, and communication. Title, role responsibilities, direct report changes without employee consent or transparency is a struggle to comprehend and career growth is stagnant. Amazing people to work with, but the business operations is heavily impacting everyone's workload and sanity. The amount of turnover and new hires that left within a month on board that we've witnessed in the past year should be a clear indication of just how broken we are and intimidating it is for new hires.

Fast moving, complex manufacturing environment providing lots of opportunity for learning. I was encouraged to pursue the ideas I found important and was afforded plenty of help and advice when I sought it out.

    Cons

Too long of a commute from the Triangle area. Being a manufacturing environment, can get extremely stressful and always can do better. While ideas were encouraged, implementing ideas was very difficult do to monetary constraints. Much of the equipment is very old and needs to be upgraded.

    Advice to Management

Look for long term solutions, not at whats just directly ahead.
