Cons
Can be overwhelming at times

Pros
They have a kitchen with multiple types of coffee machines on literally every floor. Also, there are misters outside for when it gets hot during the summer?
Cons
Okay, so this place was nice in the past but it's now just an EA studio. I'm sure you have heard before, of the many public gripes about EA but I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a while. Respawn is still in the stage (has been for a couple of years) of basically squeezing the last drops of true creativity out of long time employees or having them automate themselves out of their job; then follow up with replacing them with the generalist bot-like devs that are half as competent and twice as likely to say 'yes' to you for less money. The studio made some great projects but is on the auto-pilot formula of pumping an apex update out every few months as it gets more and more bland. This company is also a PERFECT EXAMPLE of the old "HR is there to protect the company, not you". Literally heard from a co-worker that someone was checking her out at the company gym making her feel uncomfortable... so naturally she said something to HR about it the next day ONLY to find out that SHE was in trouble for "making him feel aroused" (i kid you not... he reported her because he got horny staring at someone, and SHE got in trouble...). I'll leave it there. I could gripe all day but what good will it do honestly? This is a juggernaut of disappointment. Can't be stopped.

Pros
Excellent Gym facilities. On-site gated parking. Free snacks. Very talented team.
Cons
Very toxic Anti-Infinity Ward sentiment, even all these years after the split. Seniority means more than talent. Male leads are often protected. They will hire someone from outside the studio for an open position based on the recommendation of someone already there BEFORE they would hire someone within the studio with the same experience. Path out of QA while I was there was not set. HR did not help and offered not advice. Told HR about two separate occasions when men made inappropriate comments towards me, or when a coworker grabbed me at an E3 party and nothing was done about it. When I gave 2 weeks notice, I was told that day that they didn't like that I was going to a competitor and was told that that day would be my last day (with 2 weeks pay) which stung because I had worked with people for 3 years and lost control of how I could say goodbye to them. This was decided by a meeting including the CEO and a couple heads of departments.
