Pros
Excellent opportunity's involving the training programs. The choices of the material during the trainings are welcoming. The opportunity to grow is obvious. Once you join one of the welcoming training teams you feel as if you are one of the family members. It was extremely exciting seeing three new women GM's in a next door training room.
Cons
The company overall is great I do suggest the corporate office be more involve with the local divisions and encourage the growth within the local division.

Pros
Wide variety of experience. Great coworkers. Training that is available is great.
Cons
Amount of training available can be overwhelming and difficult to decide what is most important for your job function. Depending on location and boss work / home-life balance may not be a priority.

Pros
I like the variety of tasks and the people I work with are the best. Managers are very caring and try to help in any way they can.
Cons
Training is important in order to feel confident doing the best job possible and the tools and resources are not available.

Pros
Free lunches, monthly and daily incentives, free covered parking, generous paid time off policy, paid training, company swag, food trucks come to the parking lot everyday with a gourmet truck on Fridays, neat and clean desks, kitchens and bathrooms, and Saturdays are volunteer only! I could go on and on. The employees that work here have been amazing. I am not quite sure why anyone would leave this place but I've found it to be a very comforting and easy going place to work.
Cons
Training is not consistent and seems off. Training seemed rushed and I feel like there were topics not fully discussed or reviewed. Should have side by sides for new hires before going on the floor. My training class is pretty full and the people are very distracting, always on their phone or talking. Some were even rude when I tried helping them. I had to complain to the trainer several times. Hard for me to learn in my training environment. No tuition reimbursement.

Pros
There are none, literally
Cons
This is the worst company I've ever come into contact with. To begin, your first day of training they require you to review the company on Glass door. Seriously, it's a requirement. Next the training is terrible and you are not to ask questions for you will be harrased by the trainers. Ongoing training goes like this, hey btw you're handling a new account today, here is our 15 minute training and once again they tell you not to ask questions. Onto the job itself. There is 1500 calls in que nonstop because WFM is too busy walking around the building and telling on employees for being on their phone then properly managing calls. Management gets hired the same time you do, and are present in your training class and typically no nothing more than you. Therefore if you need something, good luck because they have no clue what they're doing. Now on to HR. Awww, good old HR. We had several meetings while in training with HR to go over benefits and attendance. Now, the attendance policy we signed as a group, with HR turned out to not be their policy... Did they tell the employees you ask? No, they did not. Not until you used their policy. Then the very unprofessional HR staff would sit you down and say, you are now on a warning because our policy has changed during the 5 days you were in the hospital . No notification was sent out, no new policy was signed. Also, to add to it, our class was in July, after the AZ sick time law took effect. However, we were told by HR that 'It does not apply to out company because we already have an extensive policy.' And, you probably guessed that was also a lie. I say do not apply here, this company is a lie and they do not care about their employees which is why their turn around rate is outrageous. They are also losing all of their large contracts, go figure!

Pros
The message is consistent from the top down. Republic Service put the employee's first with a great open door policy and reinvesting training into current employee's . There is always room growth.
Cons
My General Manager is selfish and is disconnected with how our corporate of communicates with his supervisors.

Pros
Exciting, dynamic and have a passion for change. Due to the large number of new hires up to and including the VP level at the Corporate office some exciting ideas are being churned out. Training department is delivering some very exciting materials and aids designed to equip employees with relevant skills.
Cons
Top heavy Company - The rate it is hiring specialists in a corporate role at the expense of field resources is driving change faster than the field can adapt to.Company heavy on compliance stifling creativity. Has a "not invented here" mindset. Ideas are not generally welcomed from the field, effectively widening the gap between field and corporate functions.

Pros
I can honestly say that I enjoy my job. I love the facilities and the super friendly staff. It is a fun and great place to work. I've never had an employer care so much about its employees enough to make sure we are provided daily with fruits or gaming systems for our breaks. The training team is awesome and go above and beyond to make sure you have all the knowledge you need to do your job.
Cons
I do not see any cons personally
