Pros
Benefits were very good and weren't real expensive to add family and were taken out of my payroll check weekly
Cons
I can't think of any downsides. I enjoyed working there until I reached retirement age and retired

Cons
benefits are expensive and big deductible you have to do other peoples work that they are too slow to do themselves.

Pros
The company has great benefits and a genuine care for their people all the way down to the yard hand. They are focused on doing the right thing. Top level management has a vision and a focus for the company and they do a great job at communicating that to the bottom.
Cons
Difficult to move up in a short time frame. Must be willing to relocate or wait your turn in line. Job can be stressful if you let it be.

Cons
Management is terrible & the trucks are even worse.

Pros
Strong company with locations in most of the US. Area structure provides support to local teams. Good 401(k) plan. Good choices on health benefits although pricey for the size of the company compared to other companies. Constant effort in maintaining good employee engagement. Always looking for ways to improve.
Cons
It is nearly impossible to disconnect when on vacation. Work/life balance can be a challenge, yet if you don’t use your PTO hours you lose them at the end of the year. Some employees put in for PTO but end up working from home or vacation. Field employees are viewed almost as subpar by corporate employees making it very difficult for field employees to transfer/promote to a corporate role. The corporate teams making changes/implementations don’t always understand how they are impacting the field. Annual merit increases are 2% on average making it a difficult message to communicate to your hourly employees who are receiving just cents per hour increases. Some facilities are very old and in dire need of repair. Very political environment.

Pros
The good thing about the company is that you get paid every week and it has great benefits. They have new management that wants what is best for the company and it's employees.
Cons
Needs more structure within the company. The struggle right now is getting together a plan to bring structure and fairness to the company.

Pros
They did have some really good benefits as far as medical and also a great 401k package. Training was subpar as the real learning experience happened on the floor. Computer systems are great when they are working. Plenty of room to advance.
Cons
There is very little consistency across the entire company as there are so many levels between the top and the bottom causing communication to lack. Supervisors are not trained to properly lead their teams or some literally do not care. There are constant changes that were being made which affecting my work life balances. The stress we were all put under is indescribable and because of this, I will probably never work at a call center again. The pay does not match up with the responsibilities of this position. This position is pretty much a supervisor role without the title. This company also sets certain expectations but fails miserably to uphold those expectations.

Pros
Benefits are good and PTO
Cons
Constant turnover and hideous management

Pros
Many of the resources and points of contact are still out in the field rather than centralized at their headquarters. Management makes great efforts to hire the most knowledgeable and motivated candidates. It is a huge pro to be surrounded by co-workers that know what they are doing and care about their impact. Extensive benefits at a cost that you won't be able to touch at another company. The ability to be a part of something bigger/processing and disposal of our planets waste in an environmentally friendly way.
Cons
Like any company the size of Republic implementation of programs can be a little slower due to checks and balances. Fair trade off for ethical practices and job security.

Pros
The benefits are pretty good and on par with the rest of the Fortune 500. Could be better, but not bad. Good job on those.
Cons
Upper management is out to get everyone. The company gets a tax credit for every new hire, so senority is a negative thing to have. This company does not help employees with success. They also do not listen to the employees, because they already know everything. Zero team environment exists. Senior managers could honestly care less if you work there or not. Zero culture zero values. Truly amazing for a publicly traded company.
